It is with great sadness that the family of Allan Ray Smith announce his passing peacefully from this world on Friday, July 3rd 2026 at the age of 67 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Cheryl; children Chandra Fisher (Pat) and Chris Smith (Rebecca); grandchildren Ramona, Angus, Quinn, Maggie, Hazel, and Ellie; sister, Debbie Smith (Brian); sister-in-law Wendy Pistun (Kelly); nieces and nephews Nolan, Kaylee, Destiny, Dana, and Jarrett; parents-in-law Ingrid and Fenton Lindbergh; and many relatives and friends near and far.

He was predeceased by his loving parents Yvonne and Archie.

Allan was born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan and lived in a variety of places including White Fox, Choiceland, and Saskatoon. Allan was a lifelong fan of fishing, hunting, sports, and woodworking. He lived a rich life coaching and playing curling and hockey, camping and enjoying outdoor pursuits with family, and creating masterpieces of woodwork.

At the request of the family a private family Memorial Service will be held . Following the Memorial Service,Family and Friends are invited to join us in reminiscing Al's life from 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. Friday, July 17, at the Snowden Community Hall, Main St, Snowden SK.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the ICU staff at Royal University Hospital for their dedication, care and compassion.
