Christopher Thomas Oliver

On August 4, 2026, Christopher Thomas Oliver passed away after two courageous battles with cancer. He successfully beat cancer in 2023 but it returned with a vengeance in March 2026 and Chris was unable to beat it a second time.

He leaves behind his wife Jan, sister Heather (Marv) and brother Jim. He is predeceased by parents Pat and Gary Oliver.

Chris was born and raised in Saskatoon. He worked in the hospitality industry from a young age and eventually worked in remote hospitality industry the oil and gas field. He formed great working relationships and friendships along the way.

Chris’s greatest love was for Jan who he married in July 2017. Husband, wife, and best friends, Jan and Chris loved traveling together having many adventures and making friends from around the world.

We wish to thank the care team at Glengarda Hospice in Saskatoon for their compassion, caring and for allowing Chris to pass away with dignity.
