 It is with deep love and sadness that the family announces the passing of Clifford Louis Chubala January 9, 1938 - October 28, 2025

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather/great grandfather and brother/brother in law and will be greatly missed by his wife of 65 years, Marlene Chubala nee (Oppenboen) and  Children; Calvin Chubala (Laura), Linette Chubala (Brandon McCullough) Tonja Pilon (Stan) 11 Grandchildren 16 Great grandchildren.

He was the oldest of 7 children; Phyllis Higgins, Clare McGuire, Brian Chubala(Tracy) Donald Chubala, and Carl Chubala (Deb)

 Pre-deceased by his father Peter Chubala, mother Elizabeth Chubala, nee (Yakimenko) Brother Gary Chubala.

Born and raised in Lampman SK, in his early years he worked on the famlly farm, and then went onto a construction business, which he did most of his life. In the seventies he ran a garage and restaurant in Lumsden. Later went on and co owned an Appliance sales and service store in Saskatoon, then back to construction.

Dad and mom got married in 1960. He built their first home in Lampman SK. where they started their family. In his pre-retirement years he built their ultimate home at a northern lake.

Was faithful to his religion, was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club for numerous years, always volunteered for community programs.

He was an incredible dancer with mom by his side; they participated in many dance functions, all his life. His love of dancing was taught and enjoyed by family and friends wherever he was. He loved to travel and they went as far as Hawaii. But travelled the US and Canada extensively. His one wish was to get to Tuktoyaktuk,

Building and finishing work was a passion for dad, always helping someone build something; some of his favorite hobbies were fishing and curling.

He spent most of his time with his family, in the early years he built a cabin where they spent many years boating, snowmobiling, fishing and quadding. His grand children were always a big part of his life. Over the years, he always made sure they had fun and had special times together.

His battle with cancer ended October 28, 2025 at 1:28am.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm from St Anne's Roman Catholic Parish, 217 Lenore Dr Saskatoon.

In lieu of flowers donations, can be made to Cancer Clinic of Saskatoon.

Interment to follow at a later date for the family
