Clifford Joseph Wolfe

Jul 1, 1953 — Jul 12, 2026

Clifford was born on July 1st, 1953 to Anne and Joseph Wolfe in Regina, SK. He was raised in a loving family and had the opportunity to learn so much while growing up on the farm at Odessa. By age 4 he knew he wanted to be a pilot and pursued that dream out of high school. He spent countless hours in the sky flying and instructing. He then worked on the DEW Line radar station on Broughton Island to save money for his helicopter endorsement. Helicopters took him to many of the Arctic islands including Banks, Victoria, Melville, Emerald and King Christian Island. The Arctic was one of his favourite places due to the rugged beauty and peace, and he always hoped to go back someday. He continued flying helicopters out of Calgary, where he was blessed to meet his future wife Blanche in 1979.

Clifford and Blanche were married in 1984 and moved to Regina. He had loved flying but wanted to prioritize family life, so he transitioned his career into commodity and mortgage brokering in Saskatoon. In the years to come they were blessed by the birth of their 4 children Samantha, Candace, Kathryn and Andrew.

In 1994 they moved to an acreage outside of Saskatoon and started selling organic vegetables, breads, and cereals at the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market. The first years on the acreage were hard with long working hours, lots of stress, and very little money. However, Clifford felt that God had led him on this path to serve mankind. As a result, he said that the years on the acreage with Blanche and the kids were some of the best times. The whole family worked picking fruit, harvesting the vegetables, and helping in the bakery and at the Saturday market. In 20 years, he could count on one hand the number of markets he missed. Family was very important to Clifford and he always strived to balance time with his family and the work required to provide for them. Clifford was incredibly hardworking and had hoped to work until the day he died; he was never interested in retirement or a sedentary life. Although the last years of Clifford’s life held suffering, he never complained or expressed negativity, and instead remained steadfastly faithful and trusting in God’s plan. He described Blanche as “his angel” these past few years and was deeply thankful for her unwavering care. He was so proud of his children and their accomplishments and felt that his prayers for his life had been answered. He was a man of consistent integrity, faith, humility, and compassion, who always looked for and found the good in people.

Clifford passed away peacefully with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his parents Anne and Joseph Wolfe, and sister Joanne (Elias). He is survived by Blanche, his wife and partner of over 46 years; children Samantha (Shayan), Candace (Tyler), Kathryn (Jonathen), Andrew (Rikki) and 6 grandchildren; siblings Gertrude (Henry), Delores, Douglas, and Joseph (Gillian); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Clifford’s care for others, his wisdom and advice, and his dry sense of humour will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
