David Ilarion Kalyn

Dave was born in Hafford, Sk. and grew up there before moving to Saskatoon, Regina and then back to Saskatoon where he worked as a manager in the restaurant industry. He later went to work at the U of S in Information Technology which is where he retired from.

He is predeceased by his parents Dmytro and Mary (nee: Yurkowski) . Dave is survived by his wife Terri (nee: Becker), brothers Walter of Vancouver, George of Regina, niece Angela Thachuk , her sons Sheldon and Brett, nephew Dennis (Tara) as well as his In laws, Gordon Becker and Jean Becker, brother in law Dale (Roxy) Becker, sister in law Brenda Karoly  as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dave's passion in summer was golf. He would drive out to the Golf Course before the snow was fully melted with Terri, waiting for the first "round" of the year. Winter was always a holiday in Barbados. Guitar was another passion of his whether it was playing at home or with his friends.

A Celebration of Dave's life will be held and will be held in April 2027. Once the date has been determined we will post the update.
