Doris Joyce Gawdun

Doris Joyce Gawdun, 88, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and love.

Doris was a hardworking and determined woman whose resilience carried her through life with quiet strength. She had a caring heart and showed her love in steady, practical ways. Family was always at the center of her world, and she took great pride in those she raised and the family she supported. She enjoyed spending time gardening, cooking, and baking — simple pleasures that brought her comfort throughout the years.

Doris is lovingly remembered by her sons, Robert James Gawdun (June) and Ronald Wayne Gawdun; her granddaughters, Terri Lynn Honoroksi (Mathew) and Joyce-Ann Gawdun; her great-grandchildren, Emma and Jaxson; and her sister, Myrna Waskylyniuk.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Gawdun, who passed away in 2002; her parents, Mary and William Boobye; her brothers, Jesse and George; and her brother-in-law, Walter Wasylyniuk.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
