Eve Grella

August 1938 - August 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we recognize the sudden passing of Eve Grella; an incredibly loved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Eve was born in Wakaw and was raised on the family farm in Tway. She later moved to Prince Albert where she met her future husband, Lawrence, who she married in 1959. They soon moved to Saskatoon and built a home where they raised their son, Tony. Eve was widowed in 2017 but maintained the same family home until her recent passing.

Eve enjoyed and excelled at many things: She was an avid gardener (everyone always looked forward to her infamous pickles, borscht, and many other garden-grown goods). She was a talented, self-taught, seamstress that would gladly take on any project handed to her by her family. Eve was also a champion snowmobile racer in her younger years and an accomplished ball room dancer. There were so many things throughout her life that made her special and unique.

Eve was a stay-at-home mother for many years until taking up work at several retail establishments before retiring: Ricki's, Elegance, and Woolco/Walmart. During these times she enjoyed all of the connections that were made and was always thrilled when she encountered someone who recognized and remembered those past connections.

Eve's greatest passion was her family. She leaves behind her son Tony, daughter-in-law Michele, grandsons Matthew, Christian (Sarah), Joshua, and great-grandson Reese.

Gone are the back rubs, perogies, and perfectly mended garments but the wonderful memories of all that were created by you will always remain. Active and busy right to the end, now it's your time to rest.

A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
