Joe Gursky

Born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joe Gursky, who left us peacefully with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

Joe was a devoted husband to Sharon for over 40 years, and a proud father to Brett (Chelsea) and Kory (Brittany). He was a loving grandfather to Kaden, Ty, Blake, Ava, and Zoe, with whom he shared countless joyful moments.

Joe's life was filled with passion for sports and family. He spent many cherished hours at the ball diamond, football field, and hockey rink, cheering on his sons. Weekends at the lake with loved ones and sun-soaked vacations in Jamaica with Sharon were among his favorite memories.

As a grandfather, Joe was endlessly playful and present-playing hide and seek at the WDM, building sandcastles, fishing at the lake, engaging in backyard water fights, and proudly supporting his grandchildren at their sporting and school events.

Joe's wish was to be laid to rest in the family plot beside his beloved sister Marion. His smile, laughter, and welcoming spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

There will not be a service but an interment will take place in June 2026.
