Mary Justine Stollar

Our Mother passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026 in Saskatoon, SK, just weeks shy of her 90th birthday.

Mary was born in Raymore, SK and was the middle child of 5 siblings. Our Mother grew up in Harrow, ON and graduated in 1956 with a nursing degree. After a 40 year career, Mary enjoyed trips to the library, mushrooms, everything Mount Everest, full moons, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They brought her many years of happiness, joy and companionship. Mother had a great sense of humor, was kind and generous.

Predeceased by her parents, Julius and Katherine Stollar, brothers Emil, Ed, and sister Irene. She is survived by her sister Tootie Ryan and sister in-law Lee Ann Stollar. Mary was the loving Mother of Micheal (Colleen) Brockbank, Susan (Brent) Ashton, and Lisa (Ron) Brockbank. Grandmother to Anthony (Sarah), Patrick (Chantel), Taylor (Kirstie), Carter (Lexi), Flynn and Ellis. Great-grandmother to Charlotte, Leo, Melanie and Jayden.

We would like to thank the staff at Amy's House and Stensrud Lodge for their wonderful care.

Upon her wishes, a private family event will be held at a later date.
