Obituary of Mark Charles Mills

On January 19, 2024, Mark Mills passed away peacefully with his wife, family and friends by his side.  Mark was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Mark will be deeply missed by his wife, Betty; brother, Jim (Darlene, Richie, Roseanne); and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Angela Mills.

Mark was born in Peterborough, Ontario, November 19, 1955, and Saskatoon, SK became home for most of his life. He touched many lives through his work and businesses, volunteer organizations and various hobbies and interests. He loved his pets, and he drew great satisfaction knowing he had given a loving home to his rescues Ginger, JD, Cutter and Charlie. 

Anyone who knew Mark would see him as a hardworking, dedicated, generous and a kind person. He spent most of his career as an entrepreneur. His landscaping business filled Mark with the enthusiasm to learn all he could about trees, plants as well as all aspects of yard design and maintenance. Mark took great enjoyment in the application of this knowledge in the service of his customers. Mark loved to travel, volunteer and some of his favorite times were visiting various lakes in Saskatchewan to fish. He enjoyed meeting new people and making lasting relationships. 

Betty wishes to extend her heartfelt gratitude to family and friends whose visits brought comfort and support to both her and Mark during this difficult time. She would also like to thank the Prairieview Chapel staff, Carla, Rose and Bev, for their kindness and professional handling of all the details for our loved one. 

In keeping with Mark’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
